Pressure Sensitive Adhesives
Pressure sensitive adhesives are often based on rubbery polymers called elastomers which form the backbone of the system. The properties of elastomers can be modified by adding a resin commonly called a "tackifying" resin. Resinall produces traditional glycerol and pentaerythritol esters of gum and tall oil rosin to be used as tackifier resins in a variety of pressure sensitive and hot melt adhesive applications. These resins have compatibility with a broad range of elastomers used in adhesives today. These are available in flake form.
